LIG Party
Co-op Mini Game Compilation | PC | Unity | Association Project | 2 weeks | 2023

Pitch

LIG Party was a game made for the purpose of a tournament for the LIG association. It's made for two players cooperating to make the most points on four mini games played in a row. At the end, the players get their total score.

Mini Game 1 : One player picks up apples and the second player has to aim on the screen to hit the apple. The second player moves much more slowly than the first one.

Mini Game 2 : Meteors are falling down, each players has a turret and must fire projectiles to destroy them. The turrets share a ammo count, if one player shoots too many times the other player will be unable to shoot.

Mini Game 3 : Different shapes are falling down on a platform, one after the other the players must place shapes and make the biggest structure without making the shapes fall. The score will be the total of shapes placed on the platform.

Mini Game 4 : Ducks are flying all over the screen, both players have aim on the screen to shoot the ducks and get as many points as they can on the finish line.

Project Description

In 2023, the association Leo Indie Games organized a tournament where players had to make the best scores at games made entirely by the association. Each game had to be two-players co-op, and playable on a single PC.
I was keeping track of the scores during the tournament, but before that, I was in charge of one of the games used during the tournament. I was the game designer and game artist on the project, doing every sprite on Aseprite.

At that moment I was an intern, and what started as a 1 mini game project went to 5 mini games, and ended up at 4. It was quite the load of work and a few difficulties made that the game was without a programmer for a long time, but in the end it was ready for tournament day and was the final challenge.
