Pitch

Asticosmic is a casual game inspired by the hyper-casual game genre, the controls simple and easy to learn to appeal to as many players as possible. We control a worm that goes through 5 circular levels by switching between layers to solves puzzles.

- Level Design of level 1, 2 & 3 (collective work)

- Level Design of level 5

- Integration of levels 2 and 5 in engine

- Coming up with mechanics, communication with the programmers and the artists

Project Description

​

The last projest of my second year at IIM was a mobile one. The team was given the theme "Hyper-Casual", so there was a long process of research, to find what kind of game could be made, if we should do a very strict Hyper-Casual game or just take inspirations...

After many ideas, we settled on a puzzle platforms with very simple controls, left and right, to stick to the idea of an Hyper-Casual game without sacrificing our creativity to a simple arcade style game.

The game was planned to release on the Google Playstore but plans fell through, although achievements were made and implemented.
